seems like a lot of money for a knife sharpener.. as a coworker told me.. for that price you can just buy a new set of knives every year till you die.. Of course he was joking .. I got the WE 120.. should have gotten the propack III as I ended up buying piece by piece over a few months later and would have saved money upfront had I got it all t…[Read more]

I get the obsession but if you achieve this ultimate sharpness, how may cuts will it last? What are you cutting, BESS test paper or rope, or card board boxes.. or wood or what is the knife used for and will it actually work better or worse with the ultimate sooth edge? I may not be enough of a knife geek.. I just want the thing to cut what I a…[Read more]

I use this for so many non knife sharpening things I don’t know what I did with out it.. Reprofiles knives very nicely as w…[Read more]

The leather will eventually get…[Read more]

Hi Howard, folks will be along for greater details but I can tell you what I do as there is no wrong way, if your outcome is what you wanted.
Yes, I check the angle with each stone change. Just raise the stone stop so the stone is centered on the blade and verify you angle is still as it was previous. Don’t lean on the table or move the base a…[Read more]
