It would help if you were more specific. Which system do you have? It would also help if you could provide some pictures.

In lieu of more info or photos it sounds like the blade is not clamped in the ‘sweet spot’. You probably need to move your blade back toward you in the vise. Try moving it back a little bit at a time and see if that works.

Wow! That’s the first time that I have ever seen or heard of knives like that. But, where there’s a will, there’s a way. I’m sure that some of the more experienced guys will offer some ideas soon.

I just use water and dishwashing liquid with a scrub brush. I haven’t seen any problems with the stones. When I’m reprofiling, I soap up a sponge with dishwashing liquid and dab the stones on it occasionally.

That sounds about right. It is nice having a case though. I bought a do-it-yourself case from WE for my WE66 Obsidian that worked out very well. Since I’m disabled and don’t hunt and camp anymore, I gave it to my son. He and my daughter-in-law loves it!

Wow, that sounds strange. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had some before long. I would check the website every day or two. Or maybe you will lucky and someone will sell you theirs.

I’m glad to hear that you have things sorted out. I bought the aftermarket SS micro-adjust for my WE120. It is much better than the OEM. I love my WE120 and use it all the time still. I agree. Using the micro-adjust is much faster.

Also, to keep from rounding off the point of your blade, don’t extend the tip side of your stone more than halfway of the width of the stone past the tip. Lift the stone as you get to the center of the stone or before halfway.

IMO, if you need multitool and a knife – just get separate multitool and a good EDC knife, I’ve never really digged idea of having it all-in-one tbh. Knife just becomes this thick slab of metal that is not comfortable to use whenever you need it, and if you are using multitool attachments – why not just get a separate Leatherman.
