I’m glad to hear that you have things sorted out. I bought the aftermarket SS micro-adjust for my WE120. It is much better than the OEM. I love my WE120 and use it all the time still. I agree. Using the micro-adjust is much faster.

Also, to keep from rounding off the point of your blade, don’t extend the tip side of your stone more than halfway of the width of the stone past the tip. Lift the stone as you get to the center of the stone or before halfway.

IMO, if you need multitool and a knife – just get separate multitool and a good EDC knife, I’ve never really digged idea of having it all-in-one tbh. Knife just becomes this thick slab of metal that is not comfortable to use whenever you need it, and if you are using multitool attachments – why not just get a separate Leatherman. Welcome to the forum, Robert. You’re missing out on a real treat. I love sharpening with my Wicked Edge sharpeners. My chisels and scissors are probably sharper than most people’s knives.

I break my stones in profiling/sharpening chisels. I look for the scratch patterns on the chisels to be even and consistent. Then I will start using them on knives.

Now that is a sweet looking sharpener system!!

Hi SHVentus. I can’t remember ever trying to call Wicked Edge. I usually contact them by email, and I always get a pretty quick response.

Except for things that I buy from WE forum members, I only buy Wicked Edge stones and accessories. I’m very happy with them and ‘cheaper’ has never been an issue with me.
