Here’s a couple I finished up the other day!

The grinds on that Emerson are a thing of beauty. What is the edge thickness? What do you charge for a job like that?

Looking great mate! 20 degrees a side is fine for a heavy duty knife. I had 21 degrees per side on My ESEE 5 knife/ crowbar 😉

    Best regards

I very rarely put on anything steeper than a 15 dps edge and this comes standard when I do regrinds and highly suggested when I do mirrored edges. That emerson in the pic is sitting around .005″ thick I believe, you don’t really wanna go to a true zero w/ a hollow grind as it will make it too weak. The dual grind is ideal though as you can leave the tip thicker or a different type of grind for prying strength and have the main edge for slicing ability. I’ll shoot you a pm.

Beautiful, Unbelievable what you can accomplish with the WE. I would almost be afraid to use it. That is what you call a polished edge!

Very nice! D2 is a pain to get the apex where it needs to be during the mirroring process.

    Custom Knife Factory “Rabbit”.
Fell in love with this one while doing it…

    Diamond progression 100-1000 grit.
    Wet/dry strips 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000 grit.
Stropped 5u/3.5u on leather, 1u/.5u on kangaroo.
Final buff out 0.25u diamond paste on felt.

Curry Custom Cutlery is starting to take off, did 3 more mid techs and have another batch of 7 higher end & custom knives to do next. Things are starting to get really interesting!!!

That last one is similar to my CRKT Razel – combination razor and chisel.

    Hey Guys

Just got this Benchmade 940-1 in the mail and couldn’t get it clamped in fast enough! Factory sharpness seems like a dull knife when accustomed to the WE.
Any suggestions on polishing S90V or do I just need to put in extended time….I’m happy with the result and had to share.
