So I have a stone washed blade with some superficial scratches on the blade. If I were to try to buff/polish them out will it take the stone wash finish of?

What do you guys recommend to polish a blade? A little oil with 000 steel wool?

Anyone have a link to a low angle adapter where they are in stock?

These look better the the plastic washers that members use to slide on to guide rods to keep the stones from damage. They have rubber on one side and the other is convex to match up with the stone hole

They are both international sets and the larger blades are different. One set is just straight flat blades. The other set the wider blades have these oval shapes on the blades. What are they?

So I hear about these edges ie, full hollow ground. How many different edges are there? How do you determine which one you have? Do you sharpen different grinds different ways on the WE?

If I were to put 6 micron paste on my strop can I use another paste down the road? I was thinking you could go from a lesser micron to a higher grit ok but not from a higher grit down to a lower.

Also what are your opinions on the different mediums of strops such as balsa wood, leather, and Kangaroo
