So far this is as close to the super as I can get, but I will get there yet.

The Marbles isn’t mine, but I got paid to fix some chipping in the blade and sharpen it. The Gerber has rattled around in my pocket for a couple of years, and the CRKT is my EDC that I carried and used everyday for about 4 years or so. The Microtech has recently replaced the CRKT for my EDC needs.

    CRKT to Microtech.
    0 to 60 in 2.5 seconds?

To be honest the Microtech was due to feeling nostalgic.lol. I used to keep one handy, but gave it to a friend when I left the service. While I might catch flak for this, the truth is it was a convenient tool to have around. :woohoo:

Man these took a while! Good thing you can do scandi’s on the WEPS if they are the right angle (seriously, you can):

    …………….

i’m jk lol… did that on my belt sander and they are only high polish, not mirrored, but it’s interesting what the right light can do! hehe

In all seriousness though, I finished this up today:

anyone else have trouble trying to be creative in what you reflect off of your edge so you aren’t always doing the same thing? I do!! lol

Wooh, nice photographs again! This time you had no problem in being creative in selecting what to reflect off of your edge. (And it fits the spring theme 😉 .)

Crap. The only thing green here is the grass that’ll be screaming for a mowing in about two weeks. I guess I can sharpen my mower blades between now and then.

Yes it is… had to get creative 😉

Everything here is super green right now… guess that’s part of living in the south! So much rain you can barely cut the grass though…

Tom, you may want something a little more than the wicked edge to sharpen your lawn mower blades… just a though

Yup, one of each! Scandi grinds. Just waiting to be made all shiny! And that’s some pretty thick stock of 1095, right?! Was clamping an issue at all?

Heck of a job as always, brotha.
