I do not understand how W.E. could have released the Gen3 with such a glaring problem. All they had to do was try there own prototype once or twice to see it was a design that was not ready for release. I recently started using the black plastic knob replacement microadjuster kit from Ed K (NotSharpEnuff) on my Gen3Pro. It works great and Ed was very helpful and responsive. Finally things stay put. Thanks Ed.

Why are the metal rods and the inner track of the stones round rather than square? I would think if the both were square and angled properly the stones could not rotate to any angle but the ideal angle in relationship to them knife blade.

Do you sharpen sitting or standing? Does the fact that it is taller then the 130 make it more uncomfortable to work with?

I am seriously considering getting a Gen 3 Pro. If you have the current version do you love it? Would you buy that model again? Do you find it’s limitations (14-27 degrees, arms are always at equal settings) to often be a problem? Thanks in advance.

I am about to take the plunge. I am debating either buying the 130 or the Gen 3 Pro. Would you say that the Gen 3 Pro is more likely used standing because it is taller, and the 130 is more likely used sitting because it is not as tall?
