Airscapes, great info. In easy to find spot. I ordered Notsharpenuf kit yesterday for my WE 130 and he informed me that your stops could also be ordered from him. Great idea because I was also going to order your stops, but it was one stop shopping and one shipping cost. It’s great you guys are working together.

Thank you for the guidance guys. I will order the 4 / 2 strop set (and probably the 12 inch arm set). But I was wondering if there was a step that should be taken between the 1000 grit stone and 4 / 2 strops. If not I’m good to go!

I am a COMPLETE beginner. Forgive my ignorance, I have read so much on the forum but am still confused on the next things to add. I have a WE 130 with diamond stones up to 1000. I purchased the WE 130 and the 800/1000 grit diamond stones. I’ve read quite a bit on the forum and watched a lot of videos. I guess that I won’t understand the effect of the additional grit stones until I use them. I have a 2in-5x jewelers loupe that I guess I could use.

hi folks! I will be getting my WE today. I purchased 4 cheap steak knifes at Walmart. I’m thinking of changing the bevel on 1 or 2 of them then running the blades on a fine grit paver stone to dull and then resharpen.
