Have been spending more time with my WE, redid my Spyderco Delica in ZDP189. Since it came out buttery smooth I took this pic. Am getting way more comfortable with this system. Hope its worth being in this topic

Finished these up the other day! Loving the Wicked Edge as usual 😉 Reprofiled these to 15 dps, and then taken up through 10k choseras + strops. Will past HHT3 for the most part.

    Hey Josh!

In that last photo it looks like you’ve put a ceramic stone in a 800/1000 block. Curiouser and curiouser. Is that one of the stones you cut yourself? Put in an old used pair of blocks?

I can see that now. The color looked more like a tan. Maybe a reflection off the background, or just the lighting.

Man I”ve been getting too many of these lately :S This was done only with the stock diamonds and lapping film on glass, then a little stropping on balsa (not much, most of the work was done w/ the lapping film):

Great looking results Josh! I’ve reached the same conclusions for mirror polish, keep it flat for as long as possible by using a film progression, then a lite n quick final buff polish with strops. It works…

Man, I’m on a lapping film KICK at the moment! Stuff rocks! Give me a trued surface such as glass and some various grits, I’m stoked all over again!
