I know it’s the old system but it was the one sold buy your canadian retailer back then.
And i gess that back then there was no second screw included?
Have a great friday !
Buy the way thats is the most incredible after service i ever had!! Thats great
06/09/2017 at 12:09 pm #39614Thanks for the answer Keymaster
I have purchased my kit …something like 4 years ago… and i saw back then that this screw was an issue. And there was only one screw as i remember. Aand the one down to tight it up is still eating the aluminum(old model i gess or people have done mods to pute a piece of metan in fron to help not going trough the mobile vise jaw
I will try to buy one in canada because it will be more exensive in custom fees than founding it here 😉
I will try to find a very thin washer to fit there as soon as i can.
Have a good day
René.

06/08/2017 at 8:19 pm #39571Hi Clay.
I”ve tried the small washer with the vise jaw but my smallest one was to thick and it was’nt possible to mount it flat… so i thight it up the as much as i can… but no too much it’s aluminum threads… and it was good for today.. i will try to get small nylon washer it might be better.
Also just like that… a smaller bolt should be included with the kit… the top bolt is way to long.. i’ve needed to file it tonight again… i’m mostly sharpening kitchen inives and filet knives.. at low angles…. and scratching it often.
Maybe i will have to buy the low angle addon and 12″rods…
And for the other here…from canada. Is there any place i can order the little  rubner that i have seen over the rod end that prevents metal dust to go in the ball head?
Thanks and have a good day.

01/22/2013 at 12:47 pm #9027Welcome in the forum! … the sharpie is I think one of the most usefull tool that don’t come with the WE.
Im a newbi and i’ve just done a Giesser messer it was pretty usefull to check out the edge angle that the previous sharpener guy did on it.
It’s an edition that is not sold anymore. the asian style knife … one side bevel like shun i would say.
The guy that sharpen it have done a 20° bevel each side and its with the sharpie that ive found that.finaly i’ve reprofiled it to 13° one one side and juste grind the burr on the other side… its more like it’s suposed to be i gess…. ( i have wrote to giesser and ain’t got any answer)
So … put a couple of sharpies in your kit…. you will love it!
01/19/2013 at 3:48 pm #8942Thanks for this fast answer.
The uneven bevel is out of the box. So factory made. And ill have a good amount of steel to get on before reprofiling the blade… Might take an hour or so.
And don’t worry im counting my strokes and trying to get the bevel as center as i can bare eye.
Good night every one.
01/08/2013 at 10:46 pm #8707My case system for my Weps! unfortunaly I was’nt able to find a box high enough to put my system mounted in it! but… 1 minutes and it done to put together again
have a good day folks!
01/08/2013 at 3:12 pm #8697Hi! My name is René. 34 years old french canadian from quebec city! I was looking around for sharpener on the web when i fall down on this marvellous system! Tadam xmass arrived and i got one from me to me!! Finally having my henkel knifes cutting better than new.
Also getting some shapening jobs from co-workers.I will later put some pictures of my packaging setting for my new stuff to carry around.
Im also trying to find on the forum some answers for the life time of the diamond stones…. I think the breaking time is less than 6 knifes…im I right? Because if i look at my stones the middle is really smoother than the edge on the 100 and 2000 stones. Maybe ill finally found the answer on the forum…
Have a good day or evening …it depends where you are in the world at this moment.
Keep it sharp!
P.S. sorry for my english. As i said ..im a french canadian 🙂
