I am by no means new to sharpening knifes, but I am new to the wicked edge. Unfortunately, I rounded the point on my favorite EDC. How do I get the point back without destroying the bevel?

Good reference work, Mike.

I never had a problem with pointing the tip on my WEPS right from the get-go. When someone asked about it here on the forum, I realized that I had carried over a skill developed over many years of hand-sharpening on flat stones - to follow through. Keep the angle between the edge and the stone the same for every point along the edge, right out to the tip. For most knives, this meant lifting the edge from the stone rather than letting it slide off the edge of the stone. With the WEPS or any other sharpening system, ya gotta follow through.

Thanks TC. I Did a google search rather than the forum search to get the info.

But now I see a wicked edge banner partially obscuring my post (I’m using an iPad). Hopefully, it’s not a problem for others.
