i have looked into exporting and man its a hassle from Norway no less than three documents has to be filled and shipped.. if bureaucracy one day were to go down id be a happy camper.
i envy country’s where the gov doesn’t go everything in their power to cripple their people in paperwork..09/29/2013 at 1:26 am #15059thanks good info! i will do some searching on bladeforums
is it me or is damascus steel sebenzas less attractive for buyers?
im located in Norway but i dont really think i`ll find a buyer here, few knifenuts…
i will have to look into the paperwork to exporting..
had to send a moscow classic wristwatch to germany for service and it was a hassle..
thank you bureaucracy..03/27/2013 at 3:28 am #10501a drop of oil was tremendously effective.. nice one!
03/27/2013 at 3:21 am #10499Just outta curiosity… where did the idea of soaking them come from?
im not a fan of breathing any sort of dust, and i do not know what this kiln layer that was brought up by clay when these started to fail, would do long term when inhaled..
03/27/2013 at 12:27 am #10491hehe thats awesome!
that should earn the person who made it a weps system in viral advertising08/31/2012 at 9:51 pm #5249does it tip down even with the tsuka and tsuba dissembled?
08/17/2012 at 3:13 am #4674id say drop them for now, i bought mine thinking they would be hard like ceramics but they are more “chalklike”, they absorbe water and sometimes catch the edge and a small cloud of dust shoots from them. and the edge will need more worke from that..
i havent tried the other ceramic but it seems to be ceramic like from pictures..remember to get enough strops 😉 that is one thing i regret not ordering more of on my first order
07/17/2012 at 5:34 pm #4083Also very interested in the Fallkniven 3G. Does it take an edge like Fallkniven’s VG-10? And what were your problems with 12C27? I don’t know Brusletto, but I think to understand they employ different types of steel.
3G took an very good edge
the fist brusletto hunter i sharpened chipped alot..
than the next one had really soft steel, then now the last one took a good edge but i dident test the edge as it wasent mine.. i get alot of these here in norway and i just dont like them..IF they use 12C27 in all “as they state” they are really sloppy in heat treat
07/12/2012 at 6:08 am #3985+1 on that
07/04/2012 at 1:07 am #3834no problem, thanks for reminding me 😛
i really should try esee soon, i have been looking at the ESEE-3 for a while now..07/03/2012 at 10:03 pm #3824my favorite is easily VG-10
bg42, s30v and one of their damaskus steels in old sebenzas took a good razor edge
vg-10 and 3G from Fällkniven same as obove
ats-34 from Pro-tech do i have a problem with getting scarysharp
emmerson in 154-CM was good as a chiselgrind, not so lucky as a V-grindi dont like 12C27 as i have sharpend to many Brusletto knives and had trouble with it
06/17/2012 at 6:59 am #3562i did hit the edge at the 20 degree mark on the F1. the swipe is 19.50 to 20.40 on the anglecube on the middle of the blade
06/17/2012 at 6:03 am #3561thanks, i`ll look into that..
