Just a quick note to everyone who replied to this topic that I finally got the WE ProPack I that I ordered. I was out of town when it arrived so I didn’t get a chance to use it until recently.
Fortunately, it was worth the wait and after fiddling around and learning how to use it I was able to get some pretty good results.
As a person with an engineering background, I have some thoughts on the design and possible inconsistency (not sure it that is the right word) regarding setting the angles on the left and right sides of the knife. I will attempt to put some thoughts down and get a new topic started to get a discussion going.
In any event, thanks to all that responded to my original post.
Happy sharpening to all! 😉

03/12/2013 at 1:26 pm #10185I’ve been watching this thread the whole time. We’re jammed up with people out sick but hustling as fast as we can. I’ve been doing most of the arm mods myself just to fill in for sick folks. We should be back to a full crew tomorrow, plus we added one more person so hopefully shipping will really crank up in the next couple of days.

Thanks for the response. I appreciate it.
One bit of, hopefully, constructive feedback is to not charge credit cards until the product ships. That way you minimize ruffled feathers from people like me who haven’t ordered from you before. Please understand that a customer can get concerned when this combination of events happen.
Looking forward to getting the product.
03/12/2013 at 1:19 pm #10184Stephen I hope you fat fingered that date and meant 3/15. I too am anxiously waiting on my order.
Boy I stepped in it this time. Yes, I did mean 3/14 (this Thursday – at least that is what the email stated). I didn’t think my fingers were that fat but you don’t need fat ones when you have a brain fart.
Thanks for the catch.
03/12/2013 at 5:29 am #10160I got an email today from WE saying that my order is supposed to ship on Thursday 5/14 and that I would get a tracking # then.
Hopefully, it will actually ship and I can finally take advantage of the design of this product.
Maybe this thread helped. Who knows.
Thanks for all the replies and the discussion.
03/10/2013 at 9:11 am #10089Thanks to all that have replied. I appreciate it.
I do understand the need for having a high standard and wanting to get it right. That is why I ordered the product in the first place. Many folks on this forum and videos from Youtube are the reason I placed an order without getting a response from my initial inquiry.
My concerns are with the immediate billing of my credit card and the continued lack of response from Wicked Edge. A simple note back to me would be very helpful. I would also recommend a change to a policy where the customer is only billed when the item is shipped. This way the customer is informed and concerns about the purchase are avoided.
Hopefully, I will hear from Wicked Edge at some point.
