Took my vise apart this morning and cleaned it up. Everything is working well, (very smooth). If I have the problem again I’ll contact Wicked Edge. Thanks for the help folks.

Reviving this subject due to my WE130 making the clicking noise James described. When closing the vise at approximately 3/4 of the way down the vise makes this click or more like a pop in my case. I tried the search feature but I’m not having much luck finding the thread James mentioned. Need some help finding the thread by graphite or some assistance in troubleshooting the issue. Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks for breaking the three options down for me Marc. Did some digging around and found on Experticity I could get the Field and Sport Pro for $486.75.  I added the Super Fine Ceramic 1200-1600 for $71.25 and the 5-3.5 Strop for $33.75. Total for the combination is $591.75. I’m thinking this combination and an angle cube will get me started for around $625.00.

Thank you Marc, that explained it well.  Now I need to decide which model, (I keep flip flopping back and forth). The Field and Sport Pro, the WE-130 or the Pro-Pack 2? Decisions, decisions.
