Hate to beat a dead horse but I have used most of the other systems including the Russian one. Which I could not get even bevels. Sold it and bought IMHO the best most complete system the Pro pack III.  I am not rich enough to buy cheap stuff!!  Thank you WE for a great quality product!!!

So let me get this straight in my head if your sharpening at for example 20 degrees per side when go to the cow leather strop you would go 21 degrees per side to get a net of 2 degrees less or would it be 2 degrees per side for a net of 4 ? or would you go the other way either 19 or 18 degrees ?

Those collars look like they will do the trick as a learning aid until I get more proficient with the movement of the stones.

Tom, Yes the stones did drop down quite a bit probably a big part of it I will look at the glass platen’s as well.

Question: Does the PP- III come with a scissor  sharpening attachment I see the one on Amazon lists or includes it but not listed as part of the package on WE website?

I have a delivery date of Monday 1/15 going to be a long weekend.   Hopefully it gets delivered today!!
