Marc: I think your new hybrid rack is a great idea. I am trying to figure out a way to incorporate that system into my area where I sharpen. I think the tiered rack is a great idea making it easier to see your stones. As soon as I figure out how to incorporate it you will be getting an order from me

The angle was pretty close to 20 degrees per side 20.35 on one side and 20.45 on the other chose to go with 20 degrees. I EDC this knife in rotation for work everyday and have found I like the 20 degree angle for cutting of shrink wrap and cordage that I cut everyday. The steel will is not expensive but being knew to the WE system I wanted to try…[Read more]

First time sharpening D2 on the wicked edge system. Markered the blade found the sweet spot matched the angle on both sides and went through the stones finished with ceramic and I am very happy with the edge.

I am sure he will be as pleased with his rack as I was with my pair. They hold my stones with the wicked edge covers perfectly. I would recommend Marc’s racks to anyone who would like to keep their stones organized.

I just sharpened an SOG Aegis upon finding the sweet spot I found that the angle was different from side to side with the angle cube. One side being 20.50 degrees and the other being 23.75 degrees. I decided to sharpen to the narrower angle on both sides so they would match at 20.50 degrees. I was pleased with the outcome. My question is what…[Read more]

Just received my stone racks from Marc. I ordered the 30 pin aluminum post that holds 15 pairs of stones because of space I ordered 2 they came out great. I use the wicked edge stone covers and explained that to Marc. Throughout the ordering process he was very helpful. I would highly recommend that if you are looking for a rack for your stones he…[Read more]

I thank you for the response. I am very happy with the edge at 20 degrees I was just curious what a lesser degree would get me. It cuts cardboard and sisal twine plus shrink wrap great at 20 degrees. I usually just touch the edge up once a week.

I have sharpened my link at 20 degrees and really like the edge. Curious as to what the edge would be like at 18 or 15 degree angle. I use it mostly for cutting cardboard and sisal twine. Any help will be greatly appreciated

i just wanted to post I am new to the forum and have purchased the pro pak 3. So far I have sharpened a couple of my kershaw links and I am loving the system. I brought the edge angle to 20 degrees and I like the way it sharpened. I went 400/600 then 800/1000 then 1500 ceramic. I am sure as I go along I will have questions
