We did – wanted to have even more room for stones. We’re also working on an accessory carrying case for just stones and tools etc…[/quote]

    Clay,
I’m a bachelor so my vise has found a home sitting on my kitchen table. What really interest me is the mention of a case for the stones and assorted goodies? Any idea when the accessory case will be on the market?

I’m thinking we’ll have the accessory case on the market in about 8 weeks or so, maybe just a little bit longer.

Well, I made my monthly journey to WE, and let me just say, this case is awesome. No brainer if you tote your sharpener places, and will definitely protect it if you use it for nothing more than to store your sharpener. Great insurance to protect your investment!!!

Not only that, but if you sharpen “on the road”, it makes it much easier to keep track of all your equipment, so you don’t leave anything behind.

Let’s just say, I left with one in my trunk…. 🙂

    This looks great.

In no way do I need one. But I want one 😉

    Nice score, Curtis.

Did you get the loupe too?

Maybe I’m missing something, but do you have any pictures of the inside of the case, Clay? Might also be interesting for the site.

There’s some a couple of pages back… Inside of case

I vote no wheels. If I need wheels on mine I’ll use one of those fold-up hand trucks. That way I can keep maximum flexibility.

    Case in the wild…. 🙂

What’s cool I thought I’d mention is… now if you order the sharpener and case… WE packs it in the case before shipping. So, except for unwrapping the stones and “charging” the leather… you can be up and sharpening in minutes! OK, maybe breeze through the instructions first.

Is anyone carrying their strops inside the hard case? If so, how are u packing them so as not to get your stropping compound all over the inside of the slots? Thanks!

Nate. Polls have been closed for months. That’s the bad news, your vote didn’t count.
The good news is that the cases aren’t wheeled, as you would have voted.
They are available for sale now.

I just received my case. This might be a stupid question but can anyone tell me what goes here? The cheat sheet that comes with the case labels that space “keys”… Is there something I’m missing?
