Newbie with New WE 130

This forum is awesome learned so much from you guys and got my new WE 130, sharpened like 4 kitchen knives and my Spyderco, braking in the new stones and all I can say is WoW!! I’m very impressed with how well it puts an edge on the knives, will continue reading the forums and learning more as I go, Happy New Years!

After looking at your posted photo of the knife you sharpened and seeing the remnants of the marker on the blade, I suggest you google or search “sharpening choil” on You Tube. You may find the blade enhancement helpful on knives like the Spydercos

Since I’m new to the WE on the Spyderco I should of taped the end but because I didn’t that’s why you see the marking at the base didn’t want to scratch it up, thanks for pointing that out, I’m just thrill that I’m learning and did put a nice edge on the knife thank you.

Saw the videos and there was two ways to fix the problem think I’m going with the choil method again thank you for the heads up.
