Complete rookie here…I searched but could not see how to mount a blade with a curved spine. I have several Beanchmades with slightly curved spines, no flat at all and I’m having trouble getting a even bevel.

    Thanks

Welcome to the forum! Enjoy you WEPS!

I hope Mike’s link helps you. I might add that even with curved a curved spine, it is usually possible to mount a knife in a flat way, or at least in a way such that the knife if stable and sharpening is repeatable. This is because the “thingy” that supports the knife in the vise has two pins.

If this doesn’t help or if you have more questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!
