Well, I bit the bullet, finally, and ordered a pretty comprehensive WE Gen3 pro setup all the way down to 1 micron strops.
I’m still very very curious if these bonded matrix stones are still in your mix @markH.

Hi- reposting to main forum to hopefully get in the right place.
Lord help me, but WE has inventory (shhhh, don’t tell anyone.. yet please) and I’m about to pull the trigger but want one last set of eyes on this and hope for LOTS of feedback. (Yes I’ve been reading a LOT on here and watching YouTube etc….).

Have you found diamonds acceptable on Rockwell 65 ish thin profile Japanese knives? I’m about to pull the trigger on a 130 pro as soon as they have stock ( late this week I’m told), and am wondering how to manage getting my very hard knives done with minimal risk of tea…[Read more]

Thanks for the note Roger. I wouldn’t think many on this forum use this as it seems to be in a format for the “other” big 3 style guided sharpeners. With that being said, every review comes just short of calling this format miraculous.
