The Nano strops arrived today. I already had the Foray mounted from earlier today becasue I was working a few scratches out from the heel area and left it mounted awaiting the Nano strops. I put 3 blobs of .50 diamond spray on their coarse paddle surface and rubbed them together to spread the product evenly. Then did the same with the .25 spray on the fine paddle sides.
Again, I don’t have enough experience, but for my needs I didn’t find the Nano dragging at all like the cow strops did or the Roo strops. The spray also spreads out much easier then it does on the leather strops. Appeared to me to burnish the final edge better than leather strops. I can’t see myself going back to leather (but my comments are only for one edge done so far).
Supposedly, the Honeycomb pattern will hold the product on the paddles longer . . . we shall see.
