It’s definitely a lot faster! I haven’t had any server errors either.

Excellent, thanks for checking! If all the feedback is positive, we’ll move the site over late on Saturday night.

Just checked the site on GTmetrix and the difference is pretty big:

Page load time – current server: 12.22s
Page load time – new server: 2.93s

You are correct…takes only 3 seconds from this end north of the border. That is really significant relative to the old server.

I’m really interested whether it is faster for other people, too. Guys, please let know!

I can’t load the new site right now, but it worked before several minutes.

Oh yeah… I just played with the forum you posted clay and there is a noticeable difference! Took around 15 secs for the current server to load apage and took about 4 secs on new server 🙂

    Interesting…

Anyone who knows what we can conclude from this? (In Dutch we say “how to make soup of this”, but I don’t know of a sensible translation, anyone who can help me?)

The new server is online now and it seems a lot faster. We had some hiccups with it last night and this morning but it looks like they’re resolved now.

I had a problem an hour or so ago so I left it alone page not available this then happened moments ago but reloading the page cured it.
On the whole the site works well I am used to pages not always loading it is probable only about 5% of the time since I have used this site and reloading the page generally is all that is needed.
