Stones cerámica 1200/1600

He comprado recientemente estas piedras y encuentro después de un solo afilado este aspecto.

Os parece normal?

Las 1600 están bien? Están llenas de agujeros.

Las 1200 no hay marcas, apenas.

Tengo las 1.6 y 0.4 cerámicas y tampoco tienen desperfectos después de 2 meses de uso.

 

Son fotos de teléfono. Miedo me da, poner el microscopio.

IXALU, welcome to the Wicked Edge forum. My ability to read and understand Spanish is very basic, and not all that good. But I’ll try.

The wear you are showing with the photos is normal and just what is expected.  Just what I experienced, also.  The ceramic stones do take a while to break in and require a lot of use till they yield their best results.  The stones do have a residue or coating left on the surface from the manufacturing process.

You can rub the like-grit ceramic stones together “dry”, stone flat against same stone, to help remove the residue and speed up the break-in period.

I hope you understand this or you can get this translated.  I believe this should help answer your questions.

Maybe a Spanish speaking forum member will step in to help.

Ver, tan mal aspecto en piedras ceramicas, asusta.

Mis 1.4 y 0.6 están impecables y les doy mucho uso.

Creo que he leído 1/3 del foro. Hacéis un gran trabajo para los que empezamos.

The black marks on the ceramic stones is steel residue.  It can be removed with the super eraser.

Keep the ceramics dry.

In my opinion the the 0.6µ/1.4µ is the better set.  I don’t think you need to use both.

Las deja como nuevas sin dejar residuos gomosos.
