    just got the pro pack from Santa and very excited to perfect my sharpening skills. One thing I’m wondering is after you get the edge you choose and use the knife say for a few days of EDC work what’s the best way for quick touch ups using the pro pack? Would the 800 & 1000 be enough or should it be done from lower? I know this will depend on the dullness buy just looking for general information. Cheers!

    I would just strop unless it was really heavily used but that’s just me.  I’ve heard of some using the higher grit ceramics also.

    I usually do a touch-up with my 1000’s.  Of course, if the damage is more than that, I’ll reach down as far as is required.

    Yeah, it depends. For a minor touch-up I’d strop. For a little more I’d use the 1000 grit stones. And don’t forget the diamond films. They work very well.
