Hello everyone, I am a new owner of Wicked Edge Gen4. It is my first wicked edge.

I am a hobby sharpener, mostly kitchen knives, japanese knives, diffenet fish cleaning knives of my own and my friends. I like fishing and cooking.

I own different sharpening systems, Tormek T8, japanese stones, bench grinder, catrasharp and some other systems.

I hope that I will get razor sharp knives with my new system too:)

    Best regards,

    Tayfun

Welcome to the W.E. Forum and sharpening community. The W.E. can give you what you expect when you put your time in. It takes practice. There is a bit of a learning curve like every other sharpening system you have tried.

Here are a couple helpful groups:

Hi. I too am new to sharpening with a system ( I previously have only been using spydie sticks with sub-optimal results) and I have been watching some you tube vids as well as reading online tips on sharpening. I bought a gen 3 pro and I’m interested in any tips that users might have… I collect and use pocket folders of all shapes, sizes, and steels.  Figured it’s about time to really learn to get them sharp myself.
    Thanks for the group!

Marc, this is called white grouper in Bodrum / Turkey. Indeed it is very delicious:) We are enjoying it in the pic.
