    Spyderco K12

    VG-10 Steel

    Seki City, Japan

I sharpened to 11 DPS, my lowest angle ever. I should have taped more of the blade, some minor scuffing in one area due to angle. I got most of the scuff out with buffing wheel. Always learning.

Travis, just curious, was 11º per side matching the factory bevels?  Or did you just choose to set the edge the the narrow?

I set it at 11, it was larger from the factory. I just went with 11.

Please post how it holds up.  I’m curios how that narrow bevel will perform and stand up.  VG10 is respectably hard SS, but that’s pretty narrow for a practical use knife.

You get an “A” for execution.  That’s not easy to put that narrow a bevel on a large knife with the LAA!
