    It’s sharpened down to 0.25 microns @ 18.3*.  I’m satisfied for my first attempt.

    Nicely done KP Church.  Welcome to the W.E. Forum.  Which model WEPS are you using?

    Excellent.  So how did it cut?  So how do you examine the edge to ensure it is apexed and no remnants of any burrs?  Guys use various methods (e.g. jeweler’s loop, USB microscope, etc…).  Did you stop with DLFs or did you strop as your last step?

    Pat, it cuts fantastically.  I currently just feel the burr has been raised at my lowest grits and continue on.  I have though about getting a ISB microscope.  Was just looking at them on Amazon moments ago in fact.

    My progression is as follows;

    100/200, 400/600, 800/1000, 1500/2200, 3000/6M DLF, 5/3.5 leather, 1/0.5 leather, and finished w/ 0.25 kangaroo.  Ran out of time to use the 0.10.  I’m still waiting for the 14/10 to be delivered.

    Excellent work! That’s the beauty of the Wicked Edge; you don’t have to be an expert to get expert level results.

    By the photos, looks really good and sounds like you have it down!  Congrats…you likely learned it much faster than I did (I’m stubborn).

    Great work! Sharpening knives is quite a fulfilling task. This is why I love to sharpen my CRKT Squid Folding Pocket Knife after using it on a camping trip. If youre looking to add another EDC knife to your collection, find more information here.
