Had this lingering in the back of my mind along with a few other novelty type mods. Just a quick little project that’s probably rather insignificant.

Anyway, my newly reprofiled 940 Osborne is still sitting pretty at 17dps in the WE while I finish tweaking the balsa wood strops I just made, so I haven’t tried to find any real benefit to this quite yet…

The 25 mm mark on the ruler is lined up with the line scribed dead center on the riser block. The fixed side of the jaw is anchored to the riser block 1 mm to the left of dead center, so I think I’ll mount the ruler 1mm to the right of dead center on the face of the right side of the jaw that moves.
