We just started carrying the Superaser from Idahone for cleaning ceramic stones. I’ve had a lot of luck with these guys in keeping my stones clean.

I’ve had good luck over the years with Comet and a scrub brush. I’ve been using it on my ceramic crock sticks for a long time.
I’ve done that too and had decent success. Some people report great results from Bark Keepers Friend too. I think the liquid version would work well.
