A new Pro3 is on it’s way and scheduled for 10/18/16.
I’ve been sharpening knives for friends and family for years and they all say I do good work. Now it’s time to see if anyone’s willing to pay me for my time and effort.
Many people have at least decient cutlery but it’s in very poor, but salvageable, condition. Using properly edged knives is addictive and it’s my intent to create and feed that addiction.

Are you starting a business or is it still for family and friends?
Friends and family take care of me via the barter system as I take care of them whenever possible. After some practice on every knife in the house, I’m going to offer my services around the immediate neighborhood for cash and see where things go.
I’m retired with a decent income but some extra $$$ is always welcome to support knives, guns and ammunition.
The thread on sharpening as a business has been very interesting and informative as has the entire forum.
