Mounting to Base

Hello all new to sharpering and the site.

I just got my WEPS system Pro package. There are two metal/rubber washers taped to the base. I assume that they are to mount the unit to the base, but I just want to be sure.

Yup, they go between the head of the bolt and the bottom of the base.

I’m guessing these are an effort to avoid stress risers at the mounting holes for those with Granite bases? I doubt they are needed for the paperstone base.

Just curious, what is that base that you are using and where can you get one?
Please don’t tell me it is so obvious, anyone could figure it out on their own.
