I don’t know anything about this scope but at $33 it’s probably worth it.

I guess I was hoping for a little incite. Has anyone used this scope or know anything about it?
I wish I had some info but this scope is new to me.
The link you mention refers to a login page, so I don’t know which microscope exactly you mean. However, in general my experience with this type of microscope is: you get what you pay for.
Sorry about that and thanks for the advice. Here is the product page from monoprice.
First let me apologize for replying to your post with an I don’t know. I don’t like when others do that to me but I might provide some insight. For what it’s worth I have ordered several items from Monoprice over the past few years and it’s always been a positive experience. Although I have no personal experience with the USB microscope you referenced I have been using this one from Amazon for a couple of years now that is very similar and about the same price point:
I have bought three different microscopes and this is the least expensive, simplest and it’s still my go-to scope that I use mostly all the time. I keep it plugged in to the USB of a little laptop that I run with the A/C adapter always connected. It’s always on and laying next to my WE. I constantly grab it and hand-hold it flat against the bevel to monitor my progress. With out needing to constantly adjust it I can verify I’m apexing the bevel and see my scratch pattern.
