Good advice, you normally can’t go wrong with factory angle for starters. Depends on what you want the knife to do. I have taken some edges to 15 dps and found the steel can’t handle it for my cutting tasks, so resharpened to 17.5 dps and all is good.
If this is your first knife definitely save it for later get cheap knife to practice on.
