Did end up with one micro chip still remaining. I believe that it was there prior, and just didn’t destress the edge or use the 100/200 stones long enough.
That chip could be just a cluster of diamonds on your 100/200s which need further breaking-in. I had the same thing happen just 2 weeks ago. Concentrated on finishing the break-in process and the problem cleared.
My guess is that the chip measures only about 0.001" wide and deep. Not to worry. Fix it on the next round of sharpening.
