Just received WEPS

Have a problem though, right off the bat.
Don’t have a knife sharp enough to open package
And can’t get knife sharp enough till package open.

Would appreciate someone sending me a sharpened Le Theirs Compact
In Curly Birch so I may become the infrequent poster that I am destined to be.

Please package knife in pull tab open container.

Much appreciated.

Though I would appreciate above mentioned knife,
I am looking forward to using this system for its constant angle and
Easily repeatable results.

Managed to teach myself a long time ago to produce an arm hair shaving edge free hand.
Then got a DMT clamp sharpening rig and enjoyed the quicker results.

Have acquired various stones and sharpening aids along the way.

This is very likely going to become my go to rig.

Now, if I can just get that darn package open . . .knife please

Welcome to the forum!

You missed out, the free “Le Theirs Compact In Curly Birch” with every purchase, was last year.

Have fun sharpening!

Ain’t it just my luck to be saying “What Party?”

LOL! I would love to send it to you but I love it too much. It is sitting here right in front of me on my desk as I always keep iy close at hand, especially when parcels arrive.
Best to you with your new WEPS, You will love it!

Regards
Leo

P.S..
Borrow it from my case!

Them Thiers some nice lookin knives.

Hey Mike, welcome! Enjoy your WEPS. And maybe, one day, you can show us some of your knives, 'cause someone who likes Le Thiers knives can’t have a bad taste.

…and they are more han just another pretty face! They are made with 13C27 steel by Sandvik and as such they sharpen up very easily and give a razor sharp edge, which is no surprise when you consider that Sandvik formulated this steel for the making of razors and razor-blades and for the blades of high-end knives. They did a good job IMHO.
You should pick one up for your collection!

Warm regards
Leo

That is so true Mark!

Thanks for the welcome, gentlemen.

Leo. Question for you. Is “world knife” the place to order Thiers from in the US?
Other sites appear to be in Europe.

Your input would be most appreciated,
Mike

Hi Mike
Yes I believe World Knives is a place you can order. I ordered mine directly from Philippe Chambriard I sent him my card number and he did the rest. I did not fear sending him my number, maybe foolishly, but it turned out he was entirely trustworthy.
Here is his e-mail address
