Help with identifying these bars

I bought my WE100 back in 2012 and it came with 100/200/400/600/800/1000 and I recall getting these bars a year or so later. I thought they might be ceramic but the surface is rather soft.

Wondering if there is a better option 20+ yrs later for finishing my kitchen (Zwilling) and EDC knives (Benchmade)

That’s an early pair of the Superfine Ceramic Stones once offered by W.E. That type became available from around 2017 and for a few years after.

The ceramics stones are different from diamond stones. It takes extra effort to get the most out of the ceramics. They do help finish a sharpened edge. They aren’t really for polish.
