The knife is in the top of the depth gauge. Here are pics let me know if you all need any other specific angle. Thanks again for your interest and help.
Here are some pics, it seems like the stones are meeting the blade, but there is a slight gap because the stone is touching the clamp much more noticeable when swinging the stones towards the tip of the knife.
