That actually sounds like a perfect solution, are the plates glued to a flat surface on the plastic handles? Ive swapped edge pro stones pretty easily using super 77 spray, maybe this will work for these as well.

Thanks for the warning Im sure it could be easy to get quick and confident and slip up. In the mean time I might try to make a 1 inch riser for the clamp which would let me use the whole stone and achieve lower angles on small blades. Should I get the 800/1000 grit stone stone or the 1500 grit diamond stone to follow the 200/600 on my wicked edge go? My initial though would be that its too big of a jump but someone elsewhere recommended I just get the 1500 grit next as it will remove the scratches from the 600 grit just fine, if it does that would be great since I want to keep…[Read more]
