    I’ve got a knife and I’m interested in its background. Who can tell me more? The only thing I know is that is was made in Iran and that it is sort of a traditional knife there.

    There is a story to this knife. A while ago I was dating a girl. At the first date we were talking hobbies. I told her I liked sharpening knives. Mainly so that this topic would be off the table – it’s usually not the most popular topic with women. But… at the second date she gave me a knife! :woohoo:

    It’s this knife. I thought that was so sweet and considerate of her… It’s a knife from her home country (she’s originally from Iran).

    And now she’s my girlfriend :cheer: .

    No idea about the knife, but you gotta be the first guy to ever catch the girl by telling her you like to sharpen! If my wife knew I was going to get into sharpening as deep as I have, I’m sure she would’ve bolted quickly! :silly:
