why do user’s karma points drop?

Because you also have a “-” (minus) button which takes away a vote.

    Test it on mine. 😉

Now I have to try Safari….

Edit: Seems to work like Chrome.

(Oh well, if you believe all the tech pundits…. Win 8 is going to kill Microsoft anyway). 😛

Yes, but why on earth are people taking votes away?

Funnily enough, it quite possibly could.

First time in my life that I am not running a new release OS on my primary PC.
Without a Surface tablet, it is not wanted here.

I have Beta/RC tested it for many months and have a Technet subscription. (free keys)
Perhaps when I get a Surface Pro?

    Chris,

Have you tried IE10? I just tried on Windows 8, and it won’t even let me add an attachment (or an emoticon for that matter).

I have not tried IE 10, but I have noticed in IE 9 that I have to run the forums here in compatibility mode for everything to work. Compatibility mode in IE 9 presents it as IE 7.
    Does IE 10 have such a feature…compatibility mode ?

Sure does Phil, and that is a temporary solution.
    Well done!

Now… if I could just post photos from my ipad…
(and iphone, and android phone, and….)

But seriously, iPad would be nice. 🙂

Compatibility Mode doesn’t seem avail. in the tablet version (or whatever it’s called) of IE 10. Switching it in desktop mode, doesn’t seem to affect the tablet version.

Good gawd… I’ve got too many browsers open now…

When I set compatibility mode for a website, it remembers it. At least that means you do not have to remember to make the change each time. Of course, when I change machines… and forget to click the icon, it tends piss me off. Totally my fault though
    🙂

    Easy to do cbw!

I upload my photos to Photobucket (free account), then use their (Photobucket) iPad app to grab a link I can then paste in the forums.
Of course a pic included! 😉

It’s an iPad screengrab, only out of focus because of the link options.

I will try again, a pic!

This is simply a screeny from my iPad, uploaded to Photobucket.
Then opened on my iPad with their app and grab a link! (chain icon)

Just touching the url copies it, then paste in the forum.

No surface… just the version you can download to a “regular” computer, that has the desktop and tablet modes.

[strike]Chris… what is that a picture from?[/strike] Nevermind, I saw it at the bottom.

now I’m trying an Android phone, and I think it works!

Edit: well it would, except the files too big

Haha. Success from a phone. 🙂

Edit: I should add… an Android phone using a Chrome browser.
(Now I’m not sure why it posted twice… but I guess I better move on.)
