    For those that have the u-joint arms (included with the base model and PP1) and want to lower the tolerances, here’s an option to help minimize some of the play.

    I’m not going to go into great detail regarding the overall process since the photos are pretty self explanatory.

    #36 drill bit (or 7/64) for boring
    6/32 tap for threading
    (2) 3/4″ – 6 32 elevator bolts
    (2) 1/2″ – 6 32 elevator bolts
    (4) 6/32 hex nuts
    ( 8 ) 3mm (?) washers
    (1) sheet of overhead projector film for bushings – Cut to fit the circumference of tapped holes. Cut to fit length of tapped holes.
    (1) can White Lithium Grease

    This worked beautifully for me and I now have ZERO noticeable play anywhere in my arms.

    NOTE: Please don’t destroy your arms by jumping into this without having any prior experience. Tapping isn’t too difficult, but it does take some practice.
