Actually, you may be on to something. One thing WEPS cannot do is serrated knives (ie. the scallops). Each scallop is essentially a seperate knife. Each individual scallop has to be orthogonal to the sharpening motion. If you were to incorporate the Lansky slots into a WEPS setup you might have the best of both for serrated knives. Of course you would also need a special set of diamond cone rods.
