    man, I would hate sharpening that USMC by hand… how long did that take or did you take it to the kalamazoo? 🙂 I frequently do this… re-profile to around 15 dps on my belt sander then micro bevel on the WEPS. Makes it very fast to get a Wicked Edge!!

    i have sharpened many of these type knives and the steel must be pretty good. they get really sharp. i had a line Sargent in our battalion in the 60’s and i will never forget, when we were out off the base training at Fort Bragg, he shaved with it every morning. he used two stones and strop.
