    Hello,

I recently got my WE and I love it. Im thourhg almost 10 knifes and got very decent results from the start, so happy about that.

I mainly do kitchen knifes as recreational knifes are pretty much prohibited in DK (relative to US), so not so many hobby knifes in circulation.

I was doing my filet knife which has a narrow thin blade and therefore doesnt pertrude so much over the clamp. I want my filet knifes very sharp and they dont get abused (ie chopping on a board) so I would go for a narrow angle. When setting the knife up with a 15 degree (per side) angle the stone on the right side hits the top clamp screw on the right side of the sharpener.

So basically my question is – any way to avoid this?

Im prepared to get an extra shorter screw for this type of situation, but as stated Im in the EU and have a fear that the screw has an imperial thread type. Can anyone confirm this or know what the thread type is?

    Thanks
