Hi All, just a quick note that we are once again dealing with spammers making their way into the forum.

I’m working right now to try and eliminate it. I know that a spammer sent a bunch of PMs – apologies for that.

Working to make knife.wickededgeusa.com a great forum!

As a quick followup, I want to say thanks to people for using the new REPORT button, this has helped us quickly eliminate some spam posts.

And for background info, it’s going to be tough (impossible?) to completely prevent spam. The spammers who’re making it in now (hi guys) are apparently willing to put in the effort to sign up manually, as I don’t think we have any bot (automated) spam making it in. To make it into the forum, you’re required to successfully pass the captcha (which is kind of painful for spammers and normal users alike), and validate your email before you’re allowed to login. And, they’re using real email addresses (@gmail, for example) instead of the normal .ru, .pl domains that allow the normal anti-spam filters to prevent them.
