Well it kicks ass. It kept that opinel filet knife nice and solid. I really like it for even larger knives. Like the cq7 above. being that it clamps in two places, the knives with small flats are held even firmer. I have found that clamping the tip then the screw next to the tang keeps the knife fro. Walking or wobbling. The reverse order, tang to tip seems to allow the knife to walk it’s self out while working.
I have a partial one, it would require two of the low angle mount blades and screws to complete it.
