The Gingher brand scissors have an edge angle of 37-45 degrees.  I mounted the scissor adapter on both the Generation 3 and standard mounts on my WE.  The stone collides with the mount screw.  Suggestions?

I tried a standard machine screw (10-32  5/8″ long) in place of the thumb screw and it holds the scissor just fine. I have not tried it on the vice yet but looks like it might solve your problem. My wife has not let me try to sharpen her Gingher’s yet, I need more practice still.

Thanks   I’ll try it.  The max edge I can reach is 38 degrees.  To achieve steeper angles I believe I’ll have to freehand, because the degree bar has limitations beyond that.  Whats been your experience?

I played around a little. Got it to look like it is real close to getting the angle right. I moved the degree bar on the base. Hope this helps you.
