Hi I am very new to wicked edge system and am very pleased i just could not get my knives right with a stone .. however did notice how much play was in the original arms / joints and this i thought could possibly affect the angles , so i hd a go at improving them

you can see how much play there is

so i made up some new arms out of 1/4 ” bar (the old ones are 6 mm ish) and some new joints

this made sharpening feel much more positive and can only help (i think)
