    I’m going to be receiving my pro pack 2 in about a week and I’ve been reading that the micro ceramics aren’t very good. Will lapping them with the diamond stones make them any better? Or should I contact the seller and see if they will switch the ceramics out for some films and a set of blank aluminum handles

    That depends on the edge you are looking for. I personally would not lap the ceramic stones but some have and not all with desirable results. If you want a very good “cutting” edge I personally like the ceramics. If you want mirror, with very refined edge then the lapping film are probably your best bet. I do think that both mediums have there place. I’m not sure there is one right answer to your question.

    Specifically, is good to use in a progression towards a hair toppling edge
