Looking for something I misplaced yesterday, I came across this knife I’d bought over 10 yrs ago. It’s a Henckles made in Germany folding knife. I understand they no longer make folders.

This knife has nickel plated bolsters, walnut scales and a hand forged blade according to what’s etched on the blade, and it’s a model 1922.

I’ve got an email into Henckels to find out more about it.

I sharpened it yesterday at 17 degs. each side. This is a very thin blade in a wedge grind. It’s now one f my sharpest knives. It needs some cleaning up.

    Thanks Leo,
I got a reply from Henckels. They want pictures with the Henckels logo on the blade so they can send this info to Germany. I got it all together and sent it of. I hope the can see the logo.

Henckels made several folders. Mostly multiblade smaller pocket knives from what I’ve seen.
