This knife i made for about 4 years ago, the blade is from a danish custom blade maker Paul Strande, and the handle is made with darker stained birsh, jakaranda and silver inlay and for a cople of days ago it has a wicked edge 19 degrees on it. I dont juse this knife thats sad, but i think its to beautiful and im a litle afraid of damage it.

Incredible! That is absolutely magnificent, Martin! You think you’ve had the most beautiful knives (I liked the RWL-34 / giraffe bone knife very much, too) and then this one comes by! What can we expect next? 😆

i keep posting some of my knives:blush:
this “fat” blade is made of seved (bladesmith in sweden) after my skiss, its rwl-34 steel
    total lenght: 22,5cm
    blade height :4cm
thick :10mm so it is a realy fat beast:P full flat and convex edge,
i sharpend it about 2 weeks ago and its scary sharp with 22-21-20 degrees edge, finish it with my homemade leather strops to almost a mirror edge.

Hey Martin, do you create all of these knives just for yourself or are you a (semi-)professional knife maker? I can hardly believe an “amateur” can create this. Do you have a site?

Sometimes i made (grinding) my own blades, and heat harden/temper them, but mostley i have “grinders-blade smiths”” here in sweden that make blades after a skiss that i have made, i also bought blades from other states. I prefer that there is only one copy of my knife and then i do the handle ore scales if they are fulltang. I have done maybe about over 230 knives now i think. Most to friends and to my self ( im a knife oholic) but i also had sold some 🙂
i also mostley do my own micarta and the similar grip.
the khukri on the picture i have not done, but all the rest.
sorry for my bad english and hope you can understand me 😉

*** maybe one of my knives soon will be shown here by Clay with a wicked edge on it ***we will see that.

These are 2 of my knives I made, 5 row down, the 2 major fulltangs. Maihkel Eklund is the blade Smith and it is his art and knife gallery that they are at. one has a horse stall mat (rubber) and the other has self made micarta, they are truly special knives with their shape and size and finger eliminator, but works realy good as a survial/chopper/forest knifes

    Great,

Those are some of the most beautiful knives that I have ever seen. Talk about knife lust.

I thought about that, but wanted to make sure. So much to learn. Sigh!
